What we keep, and why.

Not much, on purpose.

• Your email, if you sign up for the newsletter. We also note which form you used (the popup, the footer, the homepage, or the blog) and when.
• Standard site logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel) records basic technical data like page requests and browser type to keep the site running.
• A few things in your browser. We save small things on your device, like your cart and whether you've closed the newsletter popup or this site's cookie notice. They stay on your device and never reach us. We don't have customer accounts.

When you click through to buy, the link tells our fulfillment partner you came from Tan Girl. What happens on their site is covered by their privacy policy. We never see or store your payment details.

Newsletter signups are stored in a database hosted by Supabase in the United States. Only we can read the list. The public site can add an email to it but can't read anything back.

To send you the Tan Girl newsletter. That's it. We don't sell, rent, or share the list. Emails are delivered through a third-party email service that handles sending for us.

We keep your email until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. If you unsubscribe, we keep a record of that so we don't email you again. Ask and we'll delete it completely.

We don't use ad or tracking cookies, and no third-party ad networks collect data on this site, so there's nothing for your browser's Do Not Track setting to switch off.

Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link. You can also email tangirl.nyc@gmail.com and we'll take you off the list. To have your email deleted entirely, ask at the same address.

This site isn't intended for anyone under 18.
